Well, the time has come to say goodbye to this blog. I will not delete the content, but I am moving on in life and am incorporating all of my passions, not only frugal vegan food into my next adventure.My new blog address is:

On a side note, in the next 15 months I am planning a trip to Oregon. I am going to visit my oldest and very best friend in Ashland then I'm going to rent a car, make a trip to Portland and then take a scenic photographic drive down the PCH ending up in LA! I would love to meet up with many of you along the way! I'm planning for Sept of 2011....
I have really enjoyed Melomeals and I am glad you are keeping the site up so I can refer back for recipes!! but i am very excited to tune into your new adventures, and am trying my hardest to get to madeline's asap! I'm going to have to bring lots of friends though-because I want everything!!!

I still consider your burger and special sauce (one of the tester recipes I tried for you) to be my all-time favorite burger and I make it rather frequently in the summer! Most of the recipes I will be posting on my new site will be the same, frugal recipes and from scratch cooking. I cook this way at work and it is just how I am... so don't worry, I am not going to start using super expensive ingredients.. this is more to incorporate all of what I am now into one page ...
